I see the Carly VP announcement as some play by those who are in control of the Cruz campaign. Mitt Romney and the Bush political team own Cruz and they apparently want him to stay in the race until they have wrung out every last bit of life still detectable. I also think that this keeping the Cruz campaign alive is a plus for Trump in that he needs an opponent to play off of. Cruz looks foolish and gains more votes for Trump the longer he hangs on. Waiting for Kasich to one up Cruz by announcing his VP selection as well as his cabinet, chief of staff, and top White House Chef.
