Chris Matthews: ‘We Don’t Even Know What the Facility’s Called’ Where the Benghazi Attack Happened
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 4/27/16 | David Rutz

Posted on 04/27/2016 9:17:44 PM PDT by Nachum

MSNBC host Chris Matthews said Wednesday that “we don’t even know what the facility’s called” where the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack occurred that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Discussing Donald Trump’s attack on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for not being awake for the phone call about the attack, Matthews appeared not to remember it occurred at the diplomatic compound in the Libyan city. “Ever since the horror that happened to Chris Stevens and the other Americans in Benghazi, ever since that very confusing night, out in the middle of a facility, we don’t even know what

Sending Matthews out to blow smoke is a new tactic. They must be very scared.

Can't help but think that Matthews is crossing a line here.

Chrissie Matthews, the tranny for Obama. Who cares what he says anymore? He lost all his credibility years ago

If it had been a Republican administration, the media would have schoolchildren reciting epic poems with every detail and failure repeated endlessly. The MSM has never asked Obama or Clinton one hard question regarding Benghazi and has never done an independent investigation.

If they don’t even know what to call themselves, all the more reason for Trump to give the State dept. a good pruning.
A lot of other alphabet fed employment agencies can simply be decommissioned through attrition.

There has only been three books, that I know of, and movie done about it. Chrissy needs to get out of his “safe zone” a little more often.

Therefore it doesn't exist and never did.

Let me help you Chris.

It’s the Compound where Hillary Clinton left four Brave Americans to die while begging for help due to her complete and utter Incompetence and Dereliction of Duty.

It is called a US Mission. It was not a consulate nor an embassy.

Because Chris Matthews and his colleagues are propagandists, not journalists, I’m sure they don’t know 5% of what most FReepers knew within six weeks of the attack.

I hate to be so blunt about it but these people are 5th column oxygen-wasting scum.

Hell, Chrissy would be happy with Karl Marx himself as our president.

It may as well have been. I continue to be amazed how the treason exposed by the attack - the shipping of arms to Al-Qaeda by US government elements - is all but ignored.

Matthews raises some interesting points, inadvertently:
1) Media coverage was self-censored to the degree that many (most?) people do not know that the Benghazi “facility” comprised two different sites with separate operations.
2) One was a “Diplomatic Mission”, contained in a rented, walled house, i.e., a “compound”. It was neither an embassy nor a consulate. It’s stated purpose was to offer cultural outreach, a library for schoolchildren, etc. — the usual things to open during a civil war... And exactly the sort of place where an ambassador, with little or no security, meets with a Turkish diplomat at night to plan a Turkish language edition of “My Little Pony”?
3) The other was the “CIA Annex”, with lots of employees. Not clear how many, not clear if all were Americans. Not clear what it’s purpose was. Arms distribution? Arms collection to keep dangerous items out of the hands of Islamists? Arms collection to send dangerous items to Islamists in Syria? Rendition/interrogation? Command center coordinating militant groups in civil war? All of the above?
4) Did the two sites share personnel, security, any operations, etc., or were they administratively separate?
5) Why has there been no Big Media interest in exactly what was going on? We all know why, but Matthews needs to push the question.
6) What were US foreign policy objectives for Libya and related M.E. policy, BEFORE the attack? Achieved?
7) Did the attack derail this policy? What are US objectives now?
8) Was the Clinton adventure in Libya a success or a failure?

>>> “we don’t even know what the facility’s called”

Just wish the stupidity of Chris Matthews would just stop barking for all when using the word “WE”!!!

They are very scared - Matthews remembers the damage the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth did to derail John Kerry’s claim of being an honorable war vet; also destroyed his credibility. To this day I still don’t believe he has ever released his military medical records.

So imagine what 4 grieving families would to to constantly harangue Hillary on tv and social media...WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!

Must have been, and the local Libyan militia didn’t appreciate that Libyan weapons were being distributed to Syria...
