It’s 28 in Ohio. I know that. It used to be 26 until they changed it. The insurance laws allow for two years more than the Federal Mandate.
Regardless, by 28 I had been on my own for a decade. I left for college at 18 and never went back. Now I want my parents to pay me back pay.

Imagine your 25 year old being on your health insurance and paying for a childbirth as a grandparent, legally required.
One could imagine the grandchild now being required to be on your insurance until it's 26.

Just damn...by the time I turned 28, I had returned from my four year tour in Germany, and was working for my old battalion commander at Fort Bliss in an O-5 slot, though I had about a year TIG as a Captain.
My 27 YO son better not see this article, he might get a few ideas. lol
