To me, the labels mean very little at this point in the game. Trump is a patriot. Trump echoes my beliefs about immigration and the need for a strong border and national sovereignty. Trump echoes my belief in the absolute need for a strong military. He shares my belief that the economy can be improved dramatically, but never under HRC. He shares my belief that our foreign policy must exist on an “America first” template.
I don’t care what people want to call him—even those in the republican party can’t agree on who is and who isn’t a conservative. To Bill Buckley and the NR, Pat Buchanan wasn’t a conservative, but Bill Kristol is. Well, not in my view. Trump is close enough for me on the things that are crucial at this moment. Nothing matters unless we control the border, nothing. Leave it open and there will never be another republican president. California,for example, has zero republicans holding statewide office, and immigration is the reason, and only reason, for that.
