I was hoping that Cruz and Trump would unite.
Between them, they can pull a majority for sure vs. She Who Must Not Be Named.
But doubt it now...Cruz (and Trump) have poisoned their relationships too much.
Cruz should have known Trump tends to leave folks alone who don’t attack him. But Cruz camp did the “naked” Mrs. Trump which triggered Trump’s counter attack and things went downhill from there.
Peace could have been made at that point but Cruz’s stuff about not copulating with a snake, etc, destroyed chances for a peace treaty and alliance.
Then Cruz goes warm and fuzzy with Kaisick....who is GOPe all the way...further mistake on Cruz’s part.
For a really smart guy, Cruz has conducted a dumb campaign.
A pity. I think he would be a better Prez than Trump...doesn’t “deal” as much.
Yeah, at this point it’s a Jim Mora “shoulda, woulda, coulda” situation. Cruz went scorched earth and only managed to set his own shoes on fire.
It did not have to be this way, but here we are.
