No one on this site has worked any harder supporting Trump, MIA. It’s been a constant for me for a long while now.
But, you don’t prosecute the troops because their commander goes bad. I had a bird colonel commander in one assignment — a great warrior and leader, actually — who got caught with his pants down (literally...with a woman not his wife) on a trip out of town. Cost him his career and nearly cost him his retirement since the female was connected to his command.
But we didn’t get punished for it. ONLY he did.
And I still love the guy. He was a great, great military mind. And the unit I was in at the time eventually saw 2 of our staff go all the way to 4-star, one to 3, and one to 2. That’s the SAME staff at one time. One of the 4 stars had a worldwide command.
So, I’m talking of a truly great commander who screwed up.
that is because YOU did not participate in supporting his adultery. had you procured the woman or women for him... you too might be in trouble.
and of course “adultery” is not the same thing as treason.
