The salmon was wonderful. Found a recipe on AllRecipes.com. In foil; in the oven; with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, basil. I, too, worry about undercooking but did exactly as the recipe said and it was perfect.
Happy your salmon turned out well. Recipe sounds nice and I’ll check it out as I like basil, but have always used dill with salmon and most fish.
