Fox News anchor to sit down with GOP candidate on May 17
Megyn Kelly will interview Donald Trump in her Fox special “Megyn Kelly Presents,” Fox Broadcasting announced Monday.
This will be Kelly’s first one-on-one interview with Trump since their fiery encounter at the Aug. 2015 GOP Presidential primary debate.
For the first time ever, Kelly will explore how events unfolded with Trump after the August debate. She will also examine Trump’s campaign for the White House to date and his role in one of the most bizarre presidential runs in modern times.
“Mr. Trump and I sat down together for a meeting earlier this month at my request,” Kelly said. “He was gracious with his time and I asked him to consider an interview. I am happy to announce he has agreed, and I look forward to a fascinating exchange — our first sit-down interview together in nearly a year.”
During the August debate, Kelly asked Trump about comments he has made over the years about women being “fat pigs, dogs and disgusting animals.” Trump mounted a social media offensive after the debate, saying, “”I’m not sure that Fox is fair necessarily,” he said, claiming the other candidates told him they were glad they didn’t field the tough questions he did and “congratulated” him.
On Kelly specifically, Trump said the Fox News host’s line of questioning was not “professional”and although he can handle tough questions, they should be spread around to all the candidates.
“Megyn Kelly Presents” will air on May 17 at 8 p.m./7c on Fox. Extended portions of the sit-down will air on “The Kelly File”on May 18 on Fox News.
It will be the big kiss and make up. Hey if it helps Trump fine by me.

Every show that I’ve peeked in on, even since her supposed peace summit with Trump, has been anti-Trump.

Me Gyn should apologize to Trump for the War on Women question in the first debate. Trump has more women managers and worksite forewomen than any other builder. Trump has a higher percentage of women manager level employees percentage wise the Bill or Hillary ever had.
All Hillary has going for he is she is a Woman.

This is a big ratings-getter for both of them. If Trump gets big ratings and gives a good performance, it can only help him.
