Yew'd best be boardin' the Trump train, TexasCajun pilgrim. Stow yer Cruz luggage where it won't catch the eye of the conductor.
It is not Trump that I am against. It is the liberal policies which he advocates that I am against.
He is personally in favor of (or has been during this campaign) the pro-gay policy of men using the ladies room. To deny it, is a lie. He is personally in favor of (or has been during this campaign) the policy which permits the killing of babies based on who fathered them. To deny it, is a lie. He advocates for (or has during this campaign) single payer healthcare and a health insurance mandate on individuals. To deny it, is a lie. He is for (or has been during this campaign) touch back amnesty - send them back home and let the good ones come right back. To deny it, is a lie.
These are just the things that he has ADMITTED to during this campaign season. If any other politician publicly advocated these things, myself and most people on here would proclaim them unfit to represent the Republican party. With Trump we look the other way.
If you are o.k. with that, fine, but that is not what this site has been about for the past decade that I have been lurking/posting. If JR thinks that pointing these wrong beliefs out is grounds for a banning, then so be it.
I have stated from the beginning that I would vote for Trump in the General because he is likely no more liberal than Bush, Kasich, Rubio, Christy, etc...(all of whom I would NOT vote for) and because he has the added benefit that maybe, just MAYBE, he might stay a Republican for 8 straight years and attempt to accomplish some of the more Patriotic conservative things he has advocated. I don’t put much stock in that happening and peg the chances of it far lower than 50% but at least there is a chance of something really spectacular happening. He has said that his rhetoric is just a starting point in a negotiation.
I have been debating on whether I should stop posting and just lay low until he completely reveals himself for the liberal he has always been or if I should keep pointing out his failings when they pop up and risk a banning. I assume that once he a.) is acknowledged by all to be a liberal and b.) gets destroyed by Hillary... it will again be o.k. to post criticisms of him.
Oh well, maybe I will have to post them under another name. It’s a shame when a site with the great history of FreeRepublic bans people for criticizing the publicly advocated liberal policies of politicians.
