The few that I looked at don't "describe precisely how he used the rules to claim delegates," at least not the way I pictured you wanting references including citations to specific rules and so on. I do agree that much has been written on the subject ot trojan horse or double agent delegates.

It's a collusion between Cruz folks at state conventions with state and local Republicans who oppose Trump. The SC story makes that clear. All delegates are selected at some of these state conventions, even the ones won by a candidate during primary votes.

I'm also very tired of this subject, and maybe enough voters will be outraged to bring about changes in many of these states where the rules allow such maneuvering. '
