I am not a Cruz supporter, but I'll answer with "Ron Paul."

He's been mentioned before. Specifically what did Ron Paul do concerning delegates?

Did he go in and try to have Double Agent delegates assigned to a candidate the candidate specifically won by rules of a primary?

Was not Ron Paul responsible for Kentucky changing over to the caucus system versus the statewide vote? If so that is not a feather in Paul’s cap.

Yes.

Paul did not win a single state; however, his ardent followers worked arcane local and state party rules to take over several state delegations, including garnering 20 of Maine's 24 spots.

I wish I had details beyond Maine, but I do recall news stories about Ron Paul supporters getting an inordinate amount of delegate support in several states. The bigger Ron Paul story, newswise, was the RNC passing Rule 40(b) to deny Paul a nomination at the convention.
