Illegal weed?

You can grow up to 99 plants in Colorado unpermitted

The only time it becomes illegal is to knowingly sell to a dealer taking it outta state

Colorado is a unique pot petri dish

It’s attracted freaks since the 60s and still does and has lots of transients which affects crime

Plus legal weed does indeed as you fear bring in losers to a degree more than it does in say Michigan or would in Iowa were it legal there

I think it’s too much work to have a fat profitable grow operation for your average violent criminal

They just wait and rob them like they would armourer cars or banks or just by stealth

But pot legalization in Colorado has made hippie spots more freaky than ever....which I personally don’t care for

That’s the problem with weed out west.....it attracts lazy hippies

To some degree, attracting the dregs of society seems to be a side effect of any booming industry. There was this FR thread about the oil boom in ND, for example => Dark side of ND's oil boom: Meth, heroin, cartels _ all part of growing drug trade

And then there's Dreg Central, aka Washington DC:)
