Cruz is a man of very good character who is being inaccurately portrayed otherwise. People do not want him as much as they want Trump, who better expresses their views this year, or Cruz would have won the votes of the masses. We have a person nothing like Cruz already in the White House, but Cruz is the opposite of the lawless thug currently destroying America. I'm voting Trump tomorrow, but I can do that without having to trash a good man who is a reliable and patriotic conservative.I've been all in for Trump since he announced, but I agree with everything you wrote, thanks for saying it.

Define "personal".
Hillary's professional record is part and parcel of her personal record. She made her server a personal issue. Providing access to state secrets to personal friend Blumenthal and others makes it personal. If one is to accept that Cruz will not 'go personal' on Hillary, welcome President Hillary Clinton.

“Trump is the ONLY one nasty enough to beat Hillary.”
He certainly could go a long way to giving her a nervous breakdown.
How good a job he will do making the argument for conservatism is another thing.

Hillary would fight & debate like a man.
No planted false National Enquirer stories & whining about
delegate policies that have been in place for over 200 yrs.
She may lie but it will be more clever and not non-stop.

What principles does Trump have to argue? Trump would need to learn to argue ideas coherently on the key issues in the face of state-run media interview questions.
He's been at it almost 10 months and hasn't been able to do that yet.
For years, America has elected a congress full of people and a president who could argue "principles", what good has that gotten us? They've only betrayed those principles in the end.

For years, America has elected a congress full of people and a president who could argue "principles", what good has that gotten us? They've only betrayed those principles in the end. Perhaps. But at lest we knew where they stood in order to measure their performance. With Trump we have no idea.

Yea, we were deceived and thought they had fire in the belly, but they turned out to be just typical politicians.

“Cruz wouldnt have a prayer, against Hillary. Historic wipe-out.”
Hillary would repeat “Canadian Ted Cruz” until not even the Canadians would vote for him.

Cruz wouldnt have a prayer, against Hillary. Cruz is a "team player" and would do everything possible to insure that Hillary takes her rightful place in the Oval Office. We've seen this before with McCain and Romney, helping Obama take his place. Now that Obama has fixed America's racial problems, it's time for a woman to start working on fixing the systemic mistreatment of women in America, the worst country in the world for women's rights.

Who said you wouldn't present substance as well!
You Cruz guys are really desperate.

Bingo! Its the Romney playbook. The elite GOP cares deeply about defeating voices demanding change in the corrupt inbred party leadership. Winning elections? Not so much.

If Cruz were a man of character he would recognize that Trump has won the nomination, not try to have a convention fight.

If nothing else, this election has revealed the true and ugly face of the GOPe establishment for all to see clearly, and the reason it must be removed from power.

Don’t worry, Cruz was all over Laura Ingraham this morning lying his head off. Bringing up that ‘secret’ interview with the New York Times in which according to Cruz, Trump said he wouldn’t build the wall.
In the same interview, a minute later, Lyin’ Ted said “Why doesn’t Trump release the interview with the Times so we can see if he said he would not build the wall?”
Within two sentences he told a lie he’s been telling for at least a month.

Perhaps. But at lest we knew where they stood in order to measure their performance. With Trump we have no idea. You're kidding, right? They stood one way, then changed once they got into office. Then, as if they think the voters have forgotten, go out and campaign on the same platform they sabotaged while in office. And now we are worried about how Trump will behave?

I had looked at Cruz as a second choice. No more. Mr. Trump will win CT.
