Hewitt seems to be discounting the pressure that will mount for Cruz and Kasich to get out of the race after Tuesday. Cruz will come in third in several of those races. The gap between Trump and Cruz will grow in terms of votes received, delegates, and states won. Will the Cruzbots still turn out in numbers in the remaining races? Will they accept the futility of it all? And will the RNC understand that continuing this mindless exercise into Cleveland is counterproductive?
Cruz needs to get out and unify the party. He is going to look more and more like a sore loser.

Pressure from who?
Who is going to pressure Cruz or Kasich to get out of the race?

2 points come to mind:
1. Assume that you're playing football. There's 45 seconds left and you're losing by 3. Do you walk off the field and give up if you have a chance to take it to overtime? Or do you fight to the end?
2. Northeastern Republicans are really moderate Democrats (Northeaster Democrats are Social Justice Workers). Do you really want that part of the country running your life any more than they already do? Shouldn't the people in the remaining states have a say?

Yep. Donald will cross 1000 on Tuesday and Cruz will become the new Kasich. California and other remaining states will go for Trump if for no other reason than they don’t want to be on the losing side. By the convention Trump will be North of 1300 Delegates.
