Cruz might be able to jump frog over Trump in delegates, but he
will be viewed as an illegitimate nominee by Americans.

Ted’s strategy may well push folks to vote for Trump just out of spite.

Time for Ted to return to his day job as AA career government employee

I can see the unstable and psychotic Cruz shaking with fear, loathing and anger, screaming: "NO! I am the screwer, NOT the screwee! It's MY nomination! MINE!"

And, the Cruz supporters crying that it ain't fair at all!

If there is a contested convention, the Uniparty will put up their GOP candidate, and it won’t be Cruz.

i will never vote for the guy ever...it may be the rules...but a Democratic Republic is based on one man one vote...that’s the way it was set up. Now you can argue the GOP can set it up any way they want and that’s true. But they can’t make me vote for their damn Cruz...least not yet and if I have anything to say about it never will....

We find ourselves with another halcyonic Sunday, most of us anxiously awaiting another Tuesday, and with it the commingled, bittersweet tears of “Ted” Cruz, Hillary Clinton and Uniparty.

The Ron Paul and Mitt Romney campaigns had a similar battle in 2012.

Ted, has overlooked the one, most important, thing. He needs to be likeable and open enough for people to vote for him. Master manipulator behind the scenes would look good on him if he had been successful in that roll in the senate. In stead he has proven to be a grand stander/panderer playing the inside game. That makes him Hillary without the lipstick.

If you rely on a victory which requires delegates ostensibly “bound” to Trump but who are willing to sell him out on the second ballot.....

If they have done their duty on the first ballot and are no longer legally bound on subsequent ballots then Trump and Cruz delegates are not selling out if they support another candidate. If the candidates keep all their own delegates then nobody will be nominated, the rules will be suspended and another candidate waltzes in. Maybe that is a good thing.

I was always hoping Cruz would get into the race, and I happily donated on his website the day he announced. Who do I ask to get my sixty bucks back?

To win The Contesting, he’d have to persuade over 25% off Trump’s delegates to change their vote.
I don’t see how he’s going to persuade that many people who made the trip with full intention of voting Trump into nomination.
