Three reasons:

1. Obama always lies when he has a chance.

2. The Turks are Muslim, the Armenians are Christian, so why should Obama care about the Armenians?

3. The Armenian-Americans are mostly in California, which is a safe Democrat state, so nothing to be gained by pandering to them.
