You are proposing to elect a barbarian to guard the gates to the city and hoping against hope he won’t open the doors and let the horde in.

Trump is no conservative, Trump is probably not even a Republican and hoping he will govern as even a moderate Republican is a vain and extremely foolish hope. His promises are as real as his hair.
Higher taxes, continued Obamacare, further shrinking the military, making deals with Pelosi and Schumer (all of which he is publicly on record supporting). Which of these incompetent disasters should I as a Conservative should I feel any motivation to even lift a single finger to support?

Have you tried reading Trump’s actual policy statements?

You can find them here: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions

He has a solid conservative platform, and he lives conservatism. Which means he is not a professional politician who carefully crafts an image while hiding his real self from any public view.

Also, like anyone who is serious about getting things done, Trump doesn’t produce a laundry list of various promises meant to pander to one group or another—he has selected seven issues to tackle. Not political, but very strategic.
