If Cruz cannot win the nomination on a second or third ballot, and the convention goes to a brokered convention...then I might agree with you.
But if Cruz wins on the second or third ballot because enough individual delegates (not GOPe) switch from Trump to Cruz, then Cruz hasn’t “stolen” anything. Your frustration would be with the system.
If Ted Cruz has broken any rules in securing second ballot delegates, then I urge you to bring this to the attention of the FEC immediately rather than waste your time venting on FR
Regardless of the fact that he is "playing within the rules", it looks awfully bad to the average voter and he is experiencing a backlash in the polls.
Has it occurred to you that maybe the RNC is coalescing behind the scenes for Trump. (They may be corrupt, but they're not stupid.) That maybe they are publicly pushing Cruz so that he will alienate voters and ruin his political viability not only for a possible 2020 run, but for his own reelection as Senator.
Cruz is NOT a conservative, NOT a NBC, and couldn't beat Hillary in any universe, in a general election.

The wrong done to Trump supporters will be personified in Ted Cruz and people will work to destroy him. It’s just the way humans tick. A move like that would garentee a Hillery win and the destoye the conservitives of the GOP.
