The media loved it when Trump was "going after" Republicans, and they lovingly amplified his attacks. Just wait until he "goes after" their sacred cow, Hillary. You will see the greatest cacophony of anti-Trump howling since Hurricane Sandy blew through NYC. Now matter what "language" he speaks, it will be drowned out.

If they thought it was bad when Trump was running in the primary, just wait till the general. And, as we have seen thus far, Trump reacts very negatively to any criticism.
So does she. The difference is she has a sympathetic media on her side.
His supporters believe he’ll make mincemeat out of her in the general by telling the electorate how crooked she is. The general public already is aware of that and he’s not a great messenger to bring that up as he’s donated to her campaigns. It’s similar to the effect of Romney trying to run against ObamaCare being he was the blueprint for it in Mass.
The People will still continue to hear it - it was what pushed him to the top in the first place.
That said, it will increase (as it would increase against Cruz if he were to get the "nod with a wink" nomination too). Trump has weathered assaults from all side so far - no reason to believe he would fall over in the General.
