Peter King is generally pro gun control (he did vote against suing gun manufacturers), pro amnesty and overall fairly liberal. His stance on taxes is decent but not fantastic.

His big claim to fame is his rightward stance on National Security. That is pretty much it.

He is about the best one can hope for from a NY/NYC metro area Republican. In other words he stinks but a little bit less than his democrat counterpart.

He is a loudmouth and fairly obnoxious. living within the NYC media market, I have to suffer him on tv and radio a lot.

His hatred of Cruz should be a badge of honor for the Senator. Having Peter King like you generally says you are pretty squishy on Conservative issues.

I don’t know if his estimate of Trump is accurate or not (although I tend to think so since Mr. Trump is definitely not a Conservative ideologue) but King and others like him seem to think they could sway Mr Trump to their positions on a number of issues. That is alarming.

I wonder if Peter King likes Senator Jeff Sessions? Would that mean Sen. Sessions is squishy on Conservative issues? Perhaps it's just Ted? Maybe he is just not likeable. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good President, however, less informed voters, and many that are informed, may wish to at least like their candidate for President.
