Here's my own prediction on the delegates going forward I have been working on:

Indiana is a huge key. If cruz can win their, it will make a huge difference.

In the same vein, CA is a major key. If Trump does better thetre, it could easily make up for a loss in IN.

But if Cruz does well in IN and in CA, then he will deny Trump the 1,237. The question will be by how much.

I personally feel that Trump may do better than these results...we will just have to wait and see.

My biggest issue is November and the GOP avoiding a split resulting over an ugly convention fight that leads to a DNC win. we simply MUST avoid that.

For that reason I sent the following:

My Open Letter to Ted Cruz

Trump leads in every CA Congressional District.

You must be counting on a Cruz resurgence there.

Oh, and Trump wins Montana.

Based on the polling news out of both IN and CA today, your #s are way low.

As of today Trump would win all 72 CA votes and the majority of IN.

C'mon, Jeff.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.

The wind is a Trump's back. Even if Cruz wins Indiana, it's not going to be enough, and as for California? Impossible.

Ted Cruz has not won before the convention (no chance at 1,237) and he's not going to have nearly enough delegates to win at the convention.

It's over.

The only question is the magnitude of Cruz's humiliation, and whether we'll have a bloody civil war at the convention. The bloodiest.

I can say with complete confidence that if Donald Trump is denied the nomination, regardless of securing it before the convention, the GOP splinters, voter enthusiasm is destroyed, Hillary wins in a landslide, and the GOP also gets obliterated in the House and Senate as well.

And they'll deserve it, as will everyone who participated in the demonization of Donald Trump. I've never seen a more slanted, dishonorable, un-Christian treatment of a decent American in my life.

Why is this the situation? Because the only thing that has blunted Trump's march to the nomination is the relentless, unprincipled, unprecedented campaign of character assassination to which Trump has been subjected. It has been non-stop, 24/7/365, and has been characterized by the most slanted propaganda, distortion, and outright malice.

It's absolutely incredible that Donald Trump is still standing at all. And he's standing tall.

Donald Trump is far from the perfect candidate, but he towers above the other choices, and that includes Ted Cruz. It's not even close.

If, somehow, the diabolical Establishent/Left/Media/GOPe/"me too" Cruz campaign unholy alliance succeeds in denying Trump the 1,237 before the convention, every GOP voter in America will know why that's the case.

Thus, the only option is a Donald Trump nomination or civil war and a splintered party. There is no other realistic, plausible scenario.

And it's the GOPe, Mitt Romney, and the Machiavellian Cruz campaign which have created the scenario, from which their is no turning back.

The bad blood is irredeemable. Mitt Romney and his ilk are the scum of the earth, as far as I'm concerned, and it will be a joy to see Romney removed from his leadership role in the party, repudiated, humiliated, and ignored for the remainder of his sorry existence.

That's why Ted Cruz can't succeed even if he gets the nomination. It's insanity.

It's Donald Trump or civil war. It's Donald Trump or the Revolution dies.

Donald Trump didn't create that bed: the GOPe did, and now they're going to have to sleep in it.

So Vote Trump, or all Hell is going to break loose, and rightfully so.

Mark my words...

It the will of the people is ignored, the GOPe will be toast.

It may take stronger words than that, Jeff, and a unit of EMT’s to pry Cruz from his present destructive course.

He’s killing us. You know very well that TRUMP supporters are broadly suppressed from even serving as delegates if they say they are for TRUMP.

They are systematically voted down, based on the “litmus test” question, when asked how they will vote on Second and Third Ballots. Trump supporters simply can not say they will vote for TRUMP, whom they support. They must rather lie convincingly, and say that they are Cruz supporters to have an even chance to even be elected.

If Cruz doesn’t wake up and smell the coffee, he proves only that he is all ambition, and devoid of honor.

Hi Jeff...I have a question on your CA projection. You have Cruz at 64, but I don’t see how he can get that number. Each CD awards 3 delegates to the winner by plurality; there is no 50% rule as in NY. He would either get 63 or 66.

Also, I know it’s a ways out, but the latest polling shows Trump strong in every of the 10 regions of CA. Given the more favorable rules by CD I think Trump would be looking at closer to 126 to 132.
