Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus on Friday called for Republicans to unite ahead of the presidential election, striking back against the Never Trump movement.
“It is essential to victory in November that we all support our candidate,” Priebus said at the RNC’s spring meeting in Hollywood, Fla.
“This goes for everyone, whether you’re a county party chairman, an RNC member, or a presidential candidate. Politics is a team sport, and we can’t win unless we rally around whoever becomes our nominee,” he added, drawing applause from the audience.
“They’re trying out for our team. No one is forcing them to wear our jersey. We expect our candidates to support our party and our eventual nominee.”

As many of us Trump fans have been saying, the RNC faces the choice of embracing the Trump movement and staying in business or fighting him and losing it all. Maintaining control over all those Congressmen is worth as much or more to them than the presidency.

These guys are big on focus groups.
If they run the right mix of people and the right moderators in those focus groups, they are seeing/hearing the future is with Trump not with any other loser after the NY primary.
They moderate FR, and what has happened here since the NY primary has to be another big wakeup call!
They can join with the millions of us, who will crawl over broken glass to vote for Trump or end up under the broken glass.

Laugh, dear onyx, but that bunch of political wood ticks is only interested in their own survival. They climbed aboard Cruz knowing it would be used against him, and it was.
I think he is finally seeing there is more downsides than upsides if this goes extra innings.
