All because he told the truth.
No apologies. Go ahead and shoot. This stuff has to end.
I hope Curt gets a new gig fast. I’ve heard he lost most of his baseball money in a bad business investment and isn’t a wealthy man.
He proves how many critters can’t take the truth.
The left and the media are working overtime to redefine acceptable speech. They can’t get rid of the 1st Amendment, so they find other means. Shaming and bullying are now their preferred techniques to kill ideas they don’t like.
Good for you, Mr. Schilling.
This PC madness has to end somehow. And it begins by standing up against tyranny.
I’m sorry that he was fired. I hope that he is able to find a new job quickly.
I detest ESPN.
"The media demand that he apologize.Give them the standard leftist apology:
"I am sorry that my commonsense comments regarding grown men entering
the lady's and girl's toilets offended sexual perverts and other bigots."
Good for him! He should run for office.
He should sue them. Make ESPN publicly wallow in their asinine political correctness
(And, as a quick aside, don't forget that Curt was also a Phillies star!)
Curt Schilling is, and was always, a totally stand-up guy.
This isn’t going to help his HoF chances. It’s a shame something like this would affect it either way, but I bet that’s the way it will go down.
Freegards
I honestly don't care much much who pees where, to be completely frank, but I bitterly resent being bullied into silent acquiescence. That's the issue here.
Good for him- I don’t know if He is a Christian or not- but if so, then he is being persecuted for his religious belief- He actually has a case against ESPN for religious discrimination IF he is a Christian
Good for him! Hope he doesn’t back down!
Just wrote to ESPN, I’ve dumped cable... Here’s my comment:
ESPN Corporate:
This is to inform you that I have terminated ESPN from my monthly purchases, by dropping cable television service, and I will no longer be paying money to support any ESPN networks.
ESPN has made the decision to refuse to be inclusive of the thoughts of those that they disagree with. One of the ironies of that stance is that the network executives are deciding to terminate those they have moral disagreements with, while expecting that those that they disagree with should be forced to accept moral stances which are against their beliefs.
A chilling side effect of the current so called ‘progressive’ movement, which is hardly liberal in thought, is to terminate dissent. It is your prerogative to do such on your network, but the weak minds of political correctness is once again exposed by your decision. Also hypocritical is your juxtaposition of views on Islam/Extremist and LGBT, one of which wishes to terminate the other, as you did to Mr. Schilling.
