It’s not particularly surprising. Trump will manipulate some with his words into thinking he’s “conservative,” but he isn’t. He’s a left-of-center, NY Rockefeller type who will spout whatever bromides are necessary in an effort to get the deal he wants.
He is a transpublican. Which may be only slightly better than a dykeocrat.
