Cruz can beat the bitch you know why?? Because he is a real deal conservative. Trump cannot, that is why he is pivoting left at this juncture (premature since he is not the nominee) in the hopes of closing the distance between her and him. A vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary. BTW Trump would never say a vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary because it is not true. Open your eyes man.
The only Republicans who have won post-Nixon are ones who energize the Christian right part of the base and get the stamp of approval as authentic Christian conservatives. Reagan and Bush had that. Cruz has it. Trump does not.
The only time Republicans won the popular vote since 1988 is when they ran a candidate younger than the Democrat (2004). Cruz is younger than Clinton. Trump is not.
