Yep. I’m giving him time to retract/walk-back, but I’ll be watching.
This violates deeply held beliefs on my part that are all tied together.
Say he doesn’t walk it back, at least to our satisfaction. He still gets the nomination. Still voting for him? I can’t see why not, at least this stiff might comb his hair differently and change his mind or accidentally act rationally, I suppose.
