When my son was young, I would take him into the women’s restroom. When he decided he WOULD not use a women’s restroom (about 5 or 6 I think) I would knock on the men’s restroom door, if someone answered we would wait. If not, I would open the door and look.
While he was in there, I would stand by the door and if someone came up, open the door and call my son. That always delayed whoever wanted in for long enough for my son to come out.
I don’t have a daughter but with my nieces, I never allowed them to go unattended into a restroom. We one time ran into a man in there, I just asked him what he was doing, asked him to leave and he did.
If he had not, we would not have entered. I would imagine in my life time I have shared a restroom with some strange people and several I have not entered or left when I saw who was in there.
Life is like that. I don’t need the government, federal, state or city telling me to use common sense. As already stated, in other countries, culture and values are not the same. We are in a sorry state if we only live inside a protective little bubble, expecting the world to protect us from any and all insults to our values.
Thank you! All of a sudden everyone is letting their children get molested in bathrooms because of transgenders? What about same sex molestation which is likely more common anyways amongst males.
Like you said, if one is leaving their kids in public bathrooms unattended and open to harm, dont blame the government
