I am among the last here to back Trump (as if I haven’t made that abundantly clear), but I’d like to have some additional context to this. Maybe I’m divining it incorrectly, but he sounds more like he was being dismissive to the whole matter and inferring it’s not the federal government’s role to take a position on it. What he allows in Trump Towers is his call, but this seems more like a state/local issue.
Read the article again. He addresses the subject broadly to include the situation in North Carolina. This comment wasn’t just about Trump Towers.
