The problem come when a male uses the transgender label as an excuse to harass women and girls in a public restroom and can’t be arrested or removed because of his “gender identity” This just recently occurred on the west coast, and the police said they could do nothing.

You can't just dress like a woman - that is being a transvestite - you have to get hormone treatment and a psyche evaluation showing you "changed" sexes to be considered a transsexual. I think it should be left up to the individual private business to set its own bathroom policy.

Seems like they could be prosecuted for harassing, whether the harassing be in a restroom or somewhere else.
I wonder if the transgender situation could be taken care of by properly defining what ‘harassing’ is.
