That’s right....what we “want” as Pres. isn’t exactly what God might think we “need”..... There’s a difference and the story of Saul and David depicts this.
Saul too was a big man, strong and powerful who came from wealth. He ‘looked’ the part......but he turned away from God seeing himself as the all powerful. Trump does not seem to have an understanding about who God is....and without that....it’s not going to work regardless of what people might think otherwise.
David was a man after God’s heart and will. Prosperity came to the nation for that.
Exactly what is your basis for equating Trump with Saul, or Caligula for that matter? Surely you know the rationales you’ve put forth are contrived, to say the least.
