When I posted “That is why if DJT took either of them for VP, I believe we’d see another JFK/LBJ and RR/GHWB scenario”, I meant it is the belief of many people that LBJ was instrumental in taking out JFK, and GHWB was involved in the shooting of Reagan fairly early into Reagan’s Administration.
I sure would NOT want a repeat of those scenarios, which I believe would 100% occur if DJT were to choose one of “their boys” as his VP.
I see your point and that certainly is a concern...I've read that GHWB was out of town when RR was shot because he'd been in AZ having dinner with Himckley's parents the day before.
