Of course, the difference between Trump and his supporters is that when he does it, it's a savvy, albeit immoral, tactic. When his supporters do it, it's ignorant acceptance of everything lyin' Donald says.

Trump's supporters choose to really believe him. So it's intelligent dishonesty by Trump and ignorant honesty from his supporters. And by such means have so many disreputable men come to power.

I think it goes further then just believing him...they believe “IN” him and that’s why this is leading into the waters which will ultimately shipwreck them, because Trump is like a boat tossed in a storm as his positions change back and forth like being tossed in a wave. And that’s because when he interviews foremost to him is “sounding” like he’s right whether he is or not is not significant to him.
