The Kennedy half dollar came out within a year of JFKs death. Just an observation.
Well I’ve never been a fan of commemorating politicians for anything, especially naming buildings, ships, etc. for them
My father would not accept a Kennedy 1/2 dollar...he’s throw it on the counter and tell them to give him 2 quarters. If he brought one home, he gave it to me....well not quite, I had to pick it out of the waste basket...he didn’t like Kennedy
