I am hung up on it because I have been privy to info about the telescopes. I know some of the Jesuits slightly. I know there are the U of A and Vatican separate, but close facilities.
I know that Vatican would never allow such blasphemous name. Researched it. Lucifer is U of A project. No formal association with Vatican scopes.
People who do not live in the middle of the scopes as do I love to mix up what is separate about them. Does not make much difference unless something like Lucifer gets in mix.
OK, so the heathen technicians who operate the Vatican telescopes for the University of Arizona are the ones who call it Lucifer, not the Catholics who fund it. That is fair.
Do you have any further incite into why the Vatican or the Jesuits would want to be looking for dark red objects in the sky?
