California elected representatives who will ban gun sales. To me it’s a states rights deal. The people elected those representatives... they get what they want.
The 2nd Amendment is NOT a States’ Rights deal. It is the one amendment that is absolute. It does not say “Congress shall make no law...” It says “shall not be infringed” and does not specify who may not do the infringing. That means neither the States nor the Feds nor individuals are Constitutionally permitted to infringe the RtKaBA.
