But per Romans chapter 1, all of the above are a punitive response rendered by God in response to something else.

I think God prohibits promiscuity (whether gay or straight), anal sex (whether with a man or a woman), contraception, and other unnatural sexual behavior because it is bad for us. He loves us and wants by His Law to prevent a lot of unnecessary suffering and sorrow.

Does that make sense?
