I figured out a while ago that one of the main reasons for the Trump candidacy is to convince a lot of people that they want a democracy instead of a republic. If he is elected, we will begin to see a shift from the party rules being anti-democracy to the Senate and House being anti-democracy.There's a good chance we'll also see the Imperial Presidency continue apace as Trump follows Obama's lead in the use of executive orders and memorandum.
Power will continue to be consolidated Washington, to the detriment of the States.
