Most of these policies are far less cost effective for the majority of consumers than their predecessors. Whatever they are, they aren’t “free stuff” especially when looking at multi thousand dollar deductibles.

And of course, the answer isn’t to scale back government controls and stop forcing companies to work at a loss, but to take away any incentive whatsoever to offer good service and replace it with a government gun.

I look forward to who and what they blame when that just makes things even worse. Of course, if the government ties getting healthcare to blind obedience to the government...

Agreed 1000% , the punishment for inflicting Obamacare on us should be that they must not only stay in the exchanges but DROP their fees to 75% of the equivalent 2009 policy.

This should be happening outside of the exchange as well, since pre-existing conditions must be covered. Uncle Sugar is paying most of the tab for the exchange premiums, so the Ins. companies are getting paid.

Some of the reported problems with the exchanges is that is easy to manufacture a qualifying event when one gets sick. People have been dropping coverage in Nov. and Dec because there is no penalty for going 2 months without coverage. People haven't been signing up in the numbers that they thought except for the sick..
