7/11, 9/11, it’s all the same to Donald Trump.
The billionaire — who never visited the Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum in lower Manhattan until months after his campaign kicked off —seemed to have briefly forgotten the date the terrorist attack happened.
“I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart,” he said at the First Niagara Center on Monday night during the rally. “Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

So much concern for Veterans, shocking there were no great people who died in Pearl, but we’ve been educated now.

Good grief, that is along the same lines as spelling potato wrong. Who freaking cares. As many speeches as he and Cruz are making they are bound to misspeak many times.
He then went on to say 9/11 numerous times later in the same Speech.
As soon as I heard the Gaffe, I was wondering how quickly someone would be grilling a Nothingburger.
Maybe they were at 7-11 at the time.

I think you and I are on board with the fact that this is a non story. In fact, I’ve made the same mistake once or twice of saying 7/11 verses 9/11
