So when R's put up a moderate, Dole, McCain, Romney they can't win, because the conservative wing the base of the party says no to a moderate.

Now they are saying a conservative cannot win because democrats won't vote for him? or more like the GOPe won't vote for a conservative?

Which ever it is, the dems look like whoever they put up will win over any R, including Trump which has the highest negatives of any politician ever.

The point isn’t that Ted Cruz can’t win because he is a conservative. I think Guiliani is referring to his associations, skeletons in the closet and that he gives the heebie jeebies to the average voter.
