It helps to have some semblance of knowledge on a subject before posting. Kroenke is footing the bill for the new stadium, not the taxpayers of Los Angeles. It was the city fathers of St. Louis that wanted to shaft their taxpayers. Again.
In the fine print, they’ll be getting about $100M in breaks for stadium operations ... It’s not completely taxpayer-free.
It’s certainly better than the “deals” in other places where taxpayers fund 90% of the interest on the bonds used to construct those playgrounds that are used 20 times a year in best case scenarios. However, that LA stadium deal is not taxpayer-free ... And it still remains to be seen if the project remains that way.
