I have defended George W Bush many times over the years as a good person who may have made strategic mistakes but protected us. However, if news reports are accurate, it was obvious soon after the attack that there was direct support from individuals in the Saudi government.

It was an act of war. And W apparently took the side of his friends the Saudis over the American people, deliberately misleading the American people and sending our valiant troops to their deaths fighting against people other than the real aggressors. If true, this is treason.

It was people like Todd Beamer who kept us safe after 9/11. W gave us police forces for every federal agency, a monster of a government that has put us nearly $20 trillion in the hole, and scenes like the one below. You are absolutely correct! Think of all the blood and treasure that was utterly wasted on ill-conceived and ill-managed wars that were started by Bush. What could this bastard possibly say or do to justify the human misery and financial bankruptcy that he caused during his presidency? It is no wonder that the GOPe and their neo-con shills were apoplectic that Trump raised the question about the “War on Terror” catastrophe.
