For a record 14th year in a row, the State Department has overruled the advice of an independent statutory watchdog and decided not to blacklist Pakistan for religious freedom abuses.
The decision not to designate Pakistan a “country of particular concern” under the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA) comes despite its government’s continuing rejection of calls to amend or rescind the world’s most notorious blasphemy laws — which carry the death penalty and are frequently used to target Christians and other minorities.
It also comes just days after a new U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) report highlighted dozens of instances of intolerance of religious minorities being promoted in public school textbooks in the Islamic country. …

There is no concept of religious freedom in any Islamic country.
Under Islam one has the freedom to submit or die.

You may not die for failing to embrace secular leftism in this country, but you can sure be fined, have your business closed, and do jail time. So, it’s kinda hard for me to come down on the muzzie countries too much. At least they aren’t pretending to be bastions of “freedom” like we are.
It’s right in the name “Islam” (translates as “submission”).
Never thought id live to see that day that America was re-enacting the Bolshevik eradication of religion, and that Russia would be rebuilding the churches they destroyed.
And if Pakistan isn’t a “country of concern” on the topic of religious freedom, who the hell is?
As a corollary, why do we sell them weapons? They hid Osama, secretly built a bomb, worked with north Korea, ISI was behind the Mumbai attack, the list is long. Only India should get any.
It is amazing what having Nuclear Weapons does for a country.

George Washington said the USA’s “rank” among the world’s nations would be “absolutely lost by the reputation of weakness” in his fifth annual message to Congress. The weaker we become, the more emboldened the imperial-minded nations get.
