The 11 year-old Dancing Trumps from Fiske Elementary School in Wellesley, Massachusetts were banned from entering the talent show.
One of the parents complained.
Three 11-year-old boys attending Fiske Elementary School in Wellesley, MA were forbidden by the schools administration from performing a benign, wordless, apolitical dance routine while wearing comically oversized Donald Trump masks.
Christian Mattaliano, Marc Maggiacomo, and David Maggiacomo had been dubbed the Bobblehead Boys after performing a similar number last year, only then they wore masks bearing the face of the schools retiring principal.
When the three boys became the Dancing Trumps at the morning edition of this past Wednesdays school talent show, at least one parent complained, according to the Boston Globe, which led to school officials forbidding the boys from reprising the performance at Wednesdays evening talent show.
Whether the complainant was offended because of pro or anti-Trump sentiments is unclear, though a similar skit performed by Wellesley grade-schoolers acting as Donald Trump and Marco Rubio was also nixed from the night show, apparently because a parent found it disparaging to the Republican Party.
One of the boys parents, Laurie Mattaliano, told the Globe that the experience has left the boys feeling like they did something wrong even though, No words were spoken. Its just pop culture. The skit took no stance in support or defamation.
Liberals need help for their Trump-phobia
Political correctness IS fascism.
I know right? They didn’t even know whether the complaint was because the person was opposed to Trump, or because they support him.
They better have given the complaining parent a safe zone, or I’ll sue!

ohhhhh Im so mad at this anti trump school
ohhhhh Im so mad at this anti trump school
If they had worn Obama masks, there would have been real trouble.
Dancing Bernies would have brought down the house.
Translation: the principal didn't like it. If the majority of parents complained against a showing of "The Vagina Monologues", the show would go on, and the parents would be slammed for "intolerance".
Massachusetts is so far behind the times that haven’t yet been made aware of due process.
Turn those frowns upside down kids. Being banned has brought you [much more] attention.
“Now one parents complaint is all it takes to destroy the first amendment.”
It really depends on who makes the complaint. I believe you have to be a member of a protected minority for a complaint to carry any weight these days. I am a White male. Years ago at work I emailed HR about posters put up in the break room suggesting we celebrate “gay pride month”. I used all the right buzz words: offensive, hostile workplace, etc. I was threatened with sensitivity training or possible termination if I persisted.
If it was a RAT complaint, it is to be expected; publicizing their “enemy” does not go over well. If it was a PUB complaint about dissing their candidate, when did we join the ranks of the perpetually offended?
The boys should be playing and baseball, not prancing around like San Francisco fairies.
They should respond by showing up wearing giant Hillary masks while dancing around a pile of email’s marked TOP SECRET...
