He did a lot of things in his own best interest as a private citizen.
Based on your lack of seriousness in this reply, I’m left assuming you believe him because of some kind of gut feel.
Fine, we all have those intuitions - some are right and some are wrong. And we may follow what our gut says is right, but let’s not pretend it’s based on facts or evidence. Let’s not pretend it’s based on critical thinking.
There is only one person running for President that we know based on facts and evidence is a conservative, that’s Ted Cruz.
To pretend otherwise is fooling oneself.
All I can say is I hope if Donald Trump wins the nomination you’re right. My gut tells me otherwise, I suppose I prefer to rely on facts and evidence, vice faith, but I will vote for him if he is up against crazy Bernie or Billary.
Lastly, it’s a bit shocking to see one of the leading voices of conservatism such as yourself, openly base the future of conservatism on the gut feel of a NYC real estate mogul, instead of evidence. It’s also surprising to see an open post such as this, when I’m sure you’re aware of the sharp divisions the Trump candidacy has caused among conservative friends.
Not much else to say, good luck Jim.
