Only recently the evidence was discovered showing the fault builds stress for centuries without any small quakes, then goes all out.

Yes, they say that the coast range has been rising a lot. They determined that when it slips, everything from the coast range to the ocean moves. That thing will be felt for quite a ways inland and of course, the closer to the coast, the worse it will be. I say that anything from the Cascades west will be messed up big time.

Then, they are wondering if it will trigger the volcanoes in that range.
