Ask Americans about bad manners in the 2016 presidential campaign and the conversation shifts immediately to Donald Trump, the GOP front-runner who has branded his critics little, lyin, low-energy and worse. [ ]
When it comes to rudeness in 2016 politics, the Republican presidential contest wins in a landslide, a new poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research has found. The survey shows that 78 percent of Americans, including most Republicans, see the GOP race as discourteous. Only about half as many 41 percent say the same about the Democratic campaign. [ ]
Its not just politics. Nearly three-quarters say people in general are ruder these days than 20 or 30 years ago, a finding similar to one seen in an Associated Press/Ipsos poll taken in 2005. Even so, two-thirds see political campaigns this year as outdoing the public in levels of rudeness.

If people want to see real rudeness in campaigns, read what candidates used to say about each other in the early days of this country
Does anyone see what this is beautiful? If it were courteous, we'd be getting no where.
"courteous" is just another name for 'socially acceptable' and 'PC'
You CAN'T have the type of honesty we need without SOME of that honesty being rude, off the mark, angry, emotional.
What intervention that worked was EVER courteous.
Let's get those numbers up around 100% and then we'll see some good stuff happen. I'm not talking at the rudeness and bullying of the democrats - of PC itself - I'm saying HONESTY is not COURTESY ... and if one has to die for part of the time, God help us ... let it be courtesy.
I have a vague memory of when a member of a news organization went to the 2008 Dem convention and interviewed people. One women said the Republicans were the usual (racist, sexist, bigoted, etc...) and how she disliked how people were labeled. The interviewer then reminded her that she was doing the same. But of course, she was in denial. Then again, Dems booed God.
This time around, it’s pushing opioid painkillers.
The little leftist snowflakes don’t like “meanies”. “Meanies” scare them.

Yeah, who knew that there were so many snowflakes among us?
Yeah, now the AP has the gall to talk about “manners” when the country is sliding towards anarchy.
People have a right to change the laws, but once changed, you can’t go back. Better to work with your state—easier to change back if it doesn’t work out.
