Available at the book store. Needed for the next expression of free speech. A starter kit...

So do the cops draw chalk outlines around chalking crimes?

Chalk is banned, but spray paint on walls is encouraged when put there by downtrodden minorities.

Only when the cops go all *Kent State* on the perps.

I don't know why the students don't just call it *art* and get a free pass, like Keith Haring did. Made millions.

"While these chalk messages are part of national agendas in a heated political battle, they appeared on campus at a time of significant racial tension in our country and on college campuses. DePaul is no exception... The university has been addressing campus climate issues in an effort to provide an inclusive and supportive educational environment. In this context, many students, faculty and staff found the chalk messages offensive, hurtful and divisive."
Quite a selection of random buzzwords in there -- apparently the chalker used *white chalk*, which caused *racial tension*, and was a priori divisive.Until such ****head are lawfared right out of their overpaid jobs, this kind of BS will continue and get worse.

You think that is bad, when one of my daughters lived in an apartment complex I felt bad for all the kids that would hang out in the common area with nothing to do. I bought a huge bucket of sidewalk chalk for them to use. I am a big time racist I guess. Not sure how that works since several of the kids I bought the chalk for were black. Somehow it must be though.

Mr. Zdziarski cited the school’s nonprofit status, which prohibits students from engaging in political activities that could be reflected as the university’s “views or opinions.”

If only this was equally enforced across all universities...

No.

Loyola U. of Chicago is Jesuit. DePaul may be Franciscan, but I am not sure. I’m not Catholic, so the different orders are somewhat of a mystery.

The Jesuits are super liberal. They frequently name their colleges after the city in which they are located, e.g., Boston College, University of SanFrancisco. Now that I think about it, DePaul may be run by Paulists. Just looked it up. It’s run by an order founded by St. Vincent DePaul.
