Well said. There is GETTING ELECTED and there is BEING PRESIDENT.
If you can't do the first, it doesn't matter how well you might do the second.
Regardless to whether one thinks Cruz or Trump would make the best President, one must face the fact that you can only be President if you win the election.
Trump is the person who can win the election, and Cruz needs to STAND DOWN.
I think Cruz might make a good President. Especially if this were the early 90's or something. Those who believe Cruz can win don't understand that about 80% (my estimate) of voters don't give a hoot about whether Cruz is a conservative Constitutionalist. Certainly not most of the democrat voters, and since they outnumber the republican voters to begin with, the math should be obvious.
SO, here we all are, split between concern over who might be the best President, and who can win the election.
Cartel Cruz loses, outright, states that only TRUMP delivers with a shot for Republicans toward gaining.
Cruz brings no cross over voters, far fewer Independents and no “movement” energy, whatsoever.
Repeat that last line. No movement energy, whatsoever.
Cruz is tiresome, a grinding bore, with a nuisance personality.
He can not beat TRUMP, in the popular vote, never mind Hillary.
He cheats (and brags about it) to even account for the delegates he “claims” to have now.
LOSE with Cruz would be a promise in November, and everybody knows it.
This be why he will never get the nomination.
