It’ll be appealed and overruled immediately. Federal law makes this lawsuit illegal. Gun manufacturers who follow all laws and sell legally cannot be sued for criminal misuse.

She ruled that lawyers for the victims' families can still argue the semi-automatic rifle is a military weapon and should not have been sold to civilians. If that is really the basis of her ruling then it will be thrown out. The rifle does not have a functional selector switch to alternate between semi-auto, select-fire, and full-auto. Therefore, it is NOT the military weapon and is indeed specifically a civilian use personal defense rifle.
